Potomac Speedway would like to extend our sincerest condolences to the entire Vest and Eckert families on the passing of Raye Vest. Raye was a great car owner and an even better person. You will be greatly missed Raye!
Annual Awards Banquet Sat November 21, 2009
Potomac Speedway will crown their 2009 Track Champions and honor their Sponsors on Saturday November 21, 2009 at The Mechanicsville Firehouse Social Hall in Mechanicsville MD.The Top ten in The Budweiser Super Late Models, Carruth & Son Concrete Late Models, The Coors Light Street Stocks, Big Dogs Paradise Hobbystocks, B & B Welding 4 Cylinders, and The Chesapeake Bail Bonds Strictly Stocks will receive awards. The top 5 in The Marshall & Associates Insurance Modifieds, The Performance Auto Works Hornets and The Crate Late Models will receive awards. Special Awards also will be handed out for Most Improved, Hard Luck, Best Effort, Rookie and Sportsmanship. All drivers must be present to receive award, drivers not attending must send a representative.
Doors will open at 5pm, Buffet dinner at 6pm, with awards following dinner, and dancing following awards. Tickets are $35 each and must be purchased in advance. No tickets will be sold at the door as space is limited.Also there is space available in our Annual Banquet Program. Please contact Denise Hollidge at 301-884-4200 to purchase tickets. All tickets must be purchased by November 15, 2009
