Strictly Stocks back to 50 lappers in 2012
The 2012 racing season is just a few months away and the Strictly Stock Division will see some changes for the upcoming year. The Strictly Stocks will be going back to 50 lappers in 2012. This division will see a 12 race schedule( with driver points for the season ending banquet) each consisting of 50 lappers. Each race will require a $50 registration fee which includes the driver pit pass. The season ending grand finale will be a 100 lapper $100 fee to close out the 2012 season.
On the regular 50 lappers the pay-out will be also followed (15 cars or less $500 to win, 16 to 26 cars will be $750.00 to win. The year ending 100 lapper will consist of a $1000 to win show with 20 cars or less. All drivers starting each event will receive a pay-out just as last season. This division is great for the fans to watch and also affordable to the racer. Cars are becoming more costly and less available so we believe that putting a program such as this in place will not only help the drivers but help the division grow as well. All drivers are required to use a Raceceiver Radio and also a transponder which are available at the speedway office. |
